Our goal

An organisation where you come first

Today, Orbdent is one of the fastest growing dental health care organisations in Scandinavia. Our goal is to become your first hand choice, both for patients as well as professionals. We’re focusing on preventive care and services, high quality and service, whilst always remembering our core values: quality of life, sustainable development and diversity.

Our history

Orbdent was founded by Swedish dentists Sara Nordevall and Amjad Hosseini. As dentists they had noticed a gap in the Scandinavian dental market. With the ambition to change how we see and consume dentistry, the first pilot project was launched in 2011. The project was a success and budded of in several dental clinics based on the same philosophy and business culture.
With broad experience from different business phases, such as start-ups, take-over, partnerships and buy-outs to name a few, they’ve been able to construct a rewarding formula for the “ideal dental clinic”. This formula has been perfected during the last years to be able to offer a successful, scalable business model, adapted to the Scandinavian market.
While also being active dentists, they noticed a lack of multidisciplinary cooperation amongst different health professionals when treating their patients. They decided to have an ambitious goal of gathering dentists, physicians, psychologists and other health related professionals under the same roof. Doing so the service and quality of care to the patients were widely broadened, as well as creating a stimulating and developing work environment for their team.

Future dentistry

As the number of patients grew, as well as the team, the demand for a smart system for managing operations and quality assurance increased. When no such system that met their high demands could be found on the marked, they decided to develop their own system: Anita Systems. Anita, the name origin from the latin sanitas, which means health, has integrated all partes that’s required to manage and lead the development of dentistry in to the future.
By emphasizing the importance of preventive care and treatment, our patients’ health and wellbeing will increase, as well as their quality of life. Healthy and happy individuals contribute to the development of the society, instead of creating an unnecessary heavy demand for health and dental care services. Orbdent is of the opinion that preventive care, where we see the full picture, is the key to a healthier and happier people and a healthier and happier planet.

Quality of life

We help our patients to have a good quality of life.
We help our patients and staff members to a good quality of life.

A good health is prerequisite for a high quality of life. A healthy body and mind give us energy and joy of life. In order to have and maintain a good health it is important to invest in prevention and treat diseases at an early stage. We want to build an extensive team where health care professionals from different sectors come together and exchange knowledge and experiences.
Where we’re working together to create the future health organisation. An interdisciplinary, learning and global organisation is the premise of continuous innovation and development of the future of health care.
To help our patients in the best possible way, it is also a necessity that our staff and co-workers experience a high level of quality of life. That is one of the reasons we greatly emphasize individual development, work-life balance and a positive working environment. Therefore, we’re looking for you who want to join us in developing Scandinavia’s future health organisation.

Sustainable development

Sustainable health care is the future!
Preventive and long-term investment in health, environment and innovation is prerequisite for sustainable development.

The resources of the Earth are not infinite and we’ve been overconsuming its resources for years. To create a better future for ourselves and following generations we – our companies and the society – must take our responsibility and think and act green and eco-friendly.
We want to ensure a sustainable development where we can meet the demands of today and tomorrow, without compromise the need of future generations. We strive to build an inclusive, sustainable and resilient future for both people and planet.
In our companies we use our existing resources optimally and try to minimize waste of energy, water and material. Our clinics are centrally located and easily accessible by public transport, reducing the need of personal car usage. At the same time, we offer our patients evening- and weekend appointments, making it possible for the patient to place his or hers visit with us in connection with another case or errand. Our facilities are used 13 to 15 hours a day, even on weekends. This halves the energy consumed per clinician.
Our goal is fully digitalized clinics that minimizes the use and need of paper, energy and consumables. Contact us if you’re passionate about implementing sustainable development in dentistry.

Diversity is an asset to our organisation.
Diversity is our strength.

Both research and proven experience shows that diversity increase creativity, productivity, efficiency and improves group dynamics. As organisation we want to be a role model when it comes to integration and cooperation between people with different cultures, background, sex, age and experiences, to name a few factors.
We’re very proud to to say that we have almost 30 different nationalities on our team! In addition, we also want to integrate different categories of professionals in a multidisciplinary cooperation around and with the patient. We see that this leads to an increased creativity and understanding, that goes beyond workplaces and into families, homes and the surrounding society.
